Lord, be our guide and our protector on the journey we are about to take. Watch over us. Protect us from accidents. Keep us free from harm to body and soul.

Lord, support us with Your grace when we are tired. Help us be patient in any trouble which may come our way.  Keep us always mindful of Your presence and love. Amen

Dearest Heavenly Father,  As I pray, the rescue is on its way for the miners in Chile.  Please Lord keep the rescuers safe and give them the wisdom to know how to approach the efforts to remove these men from danger.  May the families of the victims keep faith in knowing that you are the almighty God and all is in your control.  We give thanks to you for all the blessings which you have bestowed on these miners and their families during this time of need. 

In Your precious Name I pray.  Amen

Heavenly Mother, I come to you with confidence and trust, seeking your holy intercession for my needs.  Aware that God already knows my difficulties, and mindful of your great compassion and love, I entrust all my petitions to your motherly care, especially these requests I now place before you.

For my friends who are battling with cancer and leukemia.  For my friend who has just gone through a difficult divorce and is battling loneliness.  To comfort all who are currently facing the pain of loss.  For my family, to find happiness through the love of God’s will.

Because as the mother of our Savior, you took care of Jesus in His times of need, I am encouraged to follow in your steps, and bring my personal concerns to you. 

In asking these special favors of Almighty God, I sincerely seek to imitate your holy example and humbly bow before the Divine Will, accepting in faith all that God chooses for me.  In Jesus precious name I pray.  Amen

We Will Turn is composed by an incredible song writer, performer and musician, Peter Torsiello.  Peter has been an inspiration to me most of my life through his songs, faith and love for God.  This song has carried me through many difficult days.  His talents have blessed many and renewed in me the gift of faith.

My Dearest Lord, 

The Best Dog Ever!

This weekend has been extremely difficult for our family with the loss of our dog of 10 1/2 years.  Mr. V was a great dog, and brought much joy and love into our household.  So now I ask, how do I do this?  How do I help my children and family move through this loss? My Lord, he was a gift given by You, and we are ever grateful for opportunity to have cared for one of Your many wonderful earthly creatures.  I now ask for Your love and blessings to shine upon our family as we adjust to the changes that will now occur in our home and our lives.  Please help our children through this grief which will hopefully help to prepare them for death of family members in the future.  Help them through this struggle and give us wisdom as parents to know what to say as it brings up questions about death.  In Your precious Name I pray. Amen.

Mr. V will be greatly missed in our home and in our lives.  Thanks Gagooz for bringing such joy and laughter to our children and family these past years.  May you rest in peace.

Help all of us to show sympathy and compassion to troubled children whose words and actions test our patience and understanding.  Let these children see the world as the beautiful place You created.  Help them find the courage to overcome their fears so they may learn to trust and love.

Grant those who have young lives entrusted in their care Your wisdom and kindness so they may provide the kind of love all children need to grow and mature.  Amen
